from what I'm getting at you are hooking the RCA's up to the speakers? The RCA's new to go to the head unit and it should say on the amp input and plug them in there, if you want to power that thing you need to just take the box open and take the wires running from the 18 and hook them to the + and - terminal on the amp bridged

Speakers aren't emitting sound

The fuses are on the power board at the bottom of the unit. Fuses 901, 902 and 903 are for the left, right and sub speakers. The service manual is here, remember to unplug it from the supply. Page 62 shows PWB C1. The speaker terminals was the answer to your original question.

Need to know how to hook up the speakers to this compaq computer

The default color is green for the audio output. Your speakers should plug in there.
If you aren't getting sound, make sure they are plugged into power (most speakers use an external power source).

Hi mam / sir the problem of my acer7715z its has n built in microphone and the volume of its speaker is to low how can i fix problem thanks

You can turn up the volume via the speaker icon in the lower right hand corner. If that doesn't get it to the level you'd like, then the speakers there aren't that powerful.

ok, if the sound in the headphones is as low then we know it is not your laptop speakers... try to find the laptop master volume which can be controled by an either designated keys or other keys on your keyboard, look for keys showing a picture of speakers on them, they either work directly by clicking them or you need to press the F key while you click them, either way try playing with these and see if anything happen... good luck

I have a set of Durabrand UC280 speakers. Pluged them into my cumputer. No sound. The speakers seem to work OK. Have checked systems and all say are working correctly. Any suggestions????

Are you sure you are plugged into the speaker output on your computer? Of not try the other outputs, and also make sure the volume is turned up and not muted on your computer, check by double clicking on the speaker icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen or by going to the sound applet in Control Panel.

Have you tried these speakers on another computer or with a CD player or MP3 player? If they don't work with another device either than you know there is a problem with your speakers.

Also make sure that the speakers are plugged into a power source if they require it, most likely they do.
