Impossible N95 8GB wi-fi connection

In trying to connect my new mobile phone, a Nokia N95 8GB, to my broadband livebox, I am always asked for a pre shared key authentication, not my WEP key, which I have used previously to connect both my sons laptops.
I am totally unable to find this information. (But if I attempt to access 3 local WLANs, the phone requests a WEP key) Can you please tell me what the pre shared key authentication code is and where I could find it?
Many Thanks

I have finally solved the problem by altering the livebox settings to WEP only and can now connect, (despite livebox help saying it had nothing to do with them).

    Thanks for your help though

Cannot acess my mobile phone account to renew my prepaird account

you need a wi fi connection can you find a free wi fi place like Fast Food outlet or a Cafe with free wi fi or a libraby that has free wi fi. Or a house with free wi fi. Once the credit runs out so does the mobile data needed to renew the pre paid account. You might be able to do it on a credit card payment from your pre paid account payment options as a last ditch attempt .

Why can't I connect to wifi anywhere?

there are two systems.
Mobile data and private Wi Fi networks.

Some Wi Fi networks with limited range are available at Wi Fi hot spots but you need to know the password to connect.

In my country Australia Telstra is going to offer Wi FI hot spots for its home users broadband customers and will then bill the usage to their home account.

this is a new network concept in its infancy

Thanks for your question. Listen bro the internet connection there are many types. Such as prepaid, broadband and now the modern connection is wi fi connection which is also known 3g. if you use the prepaid or postpaid connection then first you need to contract with your mobile operator. they can configure your internet setting in your mobile set. but it is not possible to use wi fi connection from your current hand set because the phone not support it, thans

My iphone is not connecting with internet by wi-fi with my own broadband connection at home but is connected with the internet via wi-fi with my friends broadband connection at his home

you need to check your router setting first,if its lock then you should unlock it first and then you will get connected with Wi-fi,and you can go into router setting by typing and then it will ask username and password, type "admin" and in iphone your wifi should be on ON mode.

I have the GT 15510M samsung phone, howdo i connect to the internet from my wireless at home?

Your mobile has a built it Wireless Fidelity or WI-FI module enabling to catch ata over wireless networks.

By turning ON your wi-fi, it will search wireless network along the nearest location of yours. Once you found a network(s), just open it and wait until established and connected, but some authenticating connection never allows you to connect because it needs a password you won't able to patch the network if you do not know the code.

If you have a broadband installed at home, you need a wireless router that can supply internet connection using your mobile phone via wi-fi,just easily series the broadband connection thru a wireless router and also add encryption like WEP key to ensure you are the only one catching the connection.

please state your broadband if any so that i can guide you the procedure in installing your wireless router connection.

If you have some questions, don't hesitate to reply cause i will glad accomodate any comments.

Thank you for visiting FixYa..
