In trying to connect my new mobile phone, a Nokia N95 8GB, to my broadband livebox, I am always asked for a pre shared key authentication, not my WEP key, which I have used previously to connect both my sons laptops. I am totally unable to find this information. (But if I attempt to access 3 local WLANs, the phone requests a WEP key) Can you please tell me what the pre shared key authentication code is and where I could find it? Many Thanks Glynn

Please go to mobile setting and turn on wi-fi on your mobile phone.
Now wi-fi network is on.
below your are showing wi-fi connection names.
now click on wi-fi connection and connect.
now asking for password.
enter correct password and click ok .
Okay, is this your mobile network (3G/4G) or your home network (Wi-Fi)? Is your service running? You should always be able to access the internet via Wi-Fi even if you don't pay your bill. Try updating your data profile. Are you paying for internet with your current plan? If not, upgrade your plan. These are just a few solutions to many reasons you cannot establish an internet connection.
you can access the Internet through the mobile network or via Wi-Fi.Your mobile network settings are pre-configured by your serviceprovider and there is no need to change any settings. Wi-Fi Wi-Fi provides wireless Internet access over distances of up to 100meters.1. Tap Home > Settings > Wireless & networks .2. Select the Wi-Fi check box to turn Wi-Fi on
Thanks for your question. Listen bro the internet connection there are many types. Such as prepaid, broadband and now the modern connection is wi fi connection which is also known 3g. if you use the prepaid or postpaid connection then first you need to contract with your mobile operator. they can configure your internet setting in your mobile set. but it is not possible to use wi fi connection from your current hand set because the phone not support it, thans
you need to check your router setting first,if its lock then you should unlock it first and then you will get connected with Wi-fi,and you can go into router setting by typing 192.168.1.1 and then it will ask username and password, type "admin" and in iphone your wifi should be on ON mode.
Your mobile has a built it Wireless Fidelity or WI-FI module enabling to catch ata over wireless networks.
By turning ON your wi-fi, it will search wireless network along the nearest location of yours. Once you found a network(s), just open it and wait until established and connected, but some authenticating connection never allows you to connect because it needs a password encryption.so you won't able to patch the network if you do not know the code.
If you have a broadband installed at home, you need a wireless router that can supply internet connection using your mobile phone via wi-fi,just easily series the broadband connection thru a wireless router and also add encryption like WEP key to ensure you are the only one catching the connection.
please state your broadband if any so that i can guide you the procedure in installing your wireless router connection.
If you have some questions, don't hesitate to reply cause i will glad accomodate any comments.
1. Your phone lacks wi-fi capability, so you can't take advantage of free wi-fi hotspots.
2. Your phone is a simple 2G model, so is not designed for web-browsing.
3. Even if your phone did have a web browser, you'd need a phone data connection, and they are NEVER free. You either pre-pay on a monthly SIM, or you have a monthly contract which includes a certain amount of data and you're charged extra if you exceed the limit.
Sorry, but your only fix is to upgrade your contract (at cost) and to upgrade your phone and find a free public hotspot.
You can use an application that make your mobile’s camera act as webcam. Here is an application "SmartCam" for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Now you can use your mobile as a webcam for your PC. There are two ways (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) to connect to pc.
You can download the files from here. Simply unzip the files on your pc. There is one .exe file and one .sis file. Run the .exe file on your pc and then run .sis file on your mobile. Bluetooth:
Connect your mobile from pc using Bluetooth. Make sure your Bluetooth is on. Just do the pairing of your mobile and pc and start using your mobile as webcam.
You can initiate the Wi-Fi connection from pc in case you don't have Bluetooth on your pc. Open the installed Smartcam application on your pc and then go to File -> Settings -> Connection -> TCP/IP (Wifi) and make sure the settings for Port is Port:9361 Now start the SmartCam application on your mobile phone and go to Options -> Connect -> TCP/IP (Wi-Fi). It will prompt for Server Name. Fill the IP address of your pc (Use ipconfig command on command prompt to know your IP address). Now the application will prompt you to connect to the Internet, choose Wi-Fi to connect to the internet. Hope this helps. Also updating your phone’s software may be usefulfor that.
