My ice maker has ice in the tray but not dropping in Ben,it is a kfil27cxmso there is a lite that sends a beam across ben ,how do I check to see if the bulb is blown or working, gk

Hello George;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service technician.

I live in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

All ice makers work in the same way.

Your fill cycle is working fine. You have a thermostat in your ice maker which tells your ice maker control module (Computer) that the ice cubes are frozen and ready for harvest. Then, then control module tells the cube tray heater to turn on for so many seconds, followed by the control module to activate the harvesting motor.

So, your ice maker either has a bad thermostat, heater or motor.

The beam across your freezer section is a safety device. On the right hand side is the transmitter. On the left hand side is the receiver with a plastic flapper. When you close the door the flapper closes and completes the signal to discharge ice. When you open the door the flapper pops out blocking the signal.

I only have B, O, G, Y, W, R, & RC on my honeywell thermostat. What terminal on a honeywell thermostat is the L terminal?

The L terminal is not a commonly used terminal. On some heat pump systems, the L terminal can be used so that the thermostat can "monitor" the heat pump. Basically, sending or receiving the low voltage signal. It is not a required terminal.

Huawei mobile AIRTEL

You can go to the settings then check the user name and password. If the user name and password is not correct then you will not get the signal or the data card that you are using over there the network signal strength is not good.

2000 Toyota 4Runner Keyless Entry not working. FOB is transmitting, but what about the receiver?

Remote Entry Receiver is inside the back lift-door panel. Open the panel and check the receiver antenna (a wire hanging out from the receiver). Try to stretch out the antenna as far from the receiver as you can so the receiver gets the maximum range for signal receiving. Since you said you had the FOB tested and it worked fine, your signal transmission side is OK. The issue is at your receiver side. Good luck.

My name is hector, early this morning i accidently unplugged my recieve out of the power outlet, and now it wont get a signal... also there is no blue led light showing like it normally would, can you...

Hi Hector, my name is Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service. When you say your receiver is not getting signal do you mean it has a DISH Network error message on it such as 015 or 002 or does the screen actually say "no signal". You are going to want to check all cabling, make sure that all of them are connected and screwed in tightly on the back of the receiver leading to the TV and to the wall. Once you have checked all the cabling you are going to want to perform a hard reset by unplugging the receiver for ten seconds from the wall outlet. If both options do not work for you I would like you to contact me so that I can assist you further with this issue. You can email me at with your account information and I will be happy to help. Thanks and have a great day!

What is the solution to bad signals from satellite cable during bad weather

Hello, my name is Nick Franta with DISH Network Customer Support.

Weather issues can happen with satellite signal. If you are experiencing heavy snowfall, wiping off the DISH of any excess snow will help the signal.

I have a honeywell cm927 control unit, and the red light on the receiver keeps flashing. i can manually turn the boiler on and off at the HC6ONG receiver. i've tried the faqs in the manual but to no joy....

The red flashing light means that there is an issues with the RF comms between control unit and receiver. You can reset by switching the boiler off and back on and then re-sending the temperature signal. You need to check batteries in you thermostat and also the position as the signal could be interfered with or it may be too far away from the receiver.

Hi mfpayton with the install of the brand new receiver wealways want to make sure all connections are tight. And after all connectionsare hand tight we will need to run the Check Switch Test. It will provide thestrongest signal to your home and you will see the signal move up into the 65percent range. If after the Check Switch Test it still is a low signal we mayneed to check the connections from the Dish and LNB that is an issue we wouldneed to come out on. I will leave the link to show you how to do the CST.
