Question about Hotpoint HSS25GFP Side by Side Refrigerator
A few months ago, my HSS25GFPJWW started clicking and not dispensing water until after a delay. I changed the filter and it worked fine. Later it stopped dispensing, and I noticed that the light next to the dispenser would go dim when I got water or ice. I removed the light bulb and it worked fine again. Over the next several weeks, it would click even more, but every time I took off the front panel and made sure all the connections were tight, it would work again for a while. Now it's quit clicking and won't dispense water or even open the ice chute flap. I think it's not getting enough power, but what can I do about it?
First i wold check the micro switch that the acuator paddle trips next i would replace the watervalves which is the most likely cause of this finally id replace the control bd as some early ges had a promblem with this there is also a solinoid in there for opening the ice chute door but that wouldnt affect the water but may cause a voltage drop if its getting bad id change the water valves the ice is on one valve the door water is on the other
