My dryer was running now it wont restart and the light next to filter is flashing

Most likely a buildup of lint. If you haven't already cleaned the lint filter, do that first. If you have, then remove it and look in the slot that it goes into to see if there is a buildup of lint that has gotten past the filter screen. Use a vacuum with crevice tool to try to clean out this area, or a small brush (even an old toothbrush) to get any lint that may be blocking the sensor and causing the dryer to not work. Unplugging the dryer, waiting 30 seconds and then reconnecting, should re-set this error.

Maytag dryer model #PYE2200AYW how to remove lint compartment once I removed the screws in the front

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

Nylon scrub brush Liquid detergent Vacuum

1.Remove the lint screen, which usually is located in the front of a Maytag dryer. Gently pull it up and out, and remove the lint with your fingers.
2. Use hot water and wet both sides of the lint screen. Use a nylon scrubbing brush and a little bit of liquid dish soap or laundry detergent to scrub the screen clean of lint and fabric softener buildup. Rinse both sides thoroughly with hot water. Towel dry and replace the lint screen when dry. Maytag states that owners should do this every six months.
3.Clean the exhaust every two years, as recommended by Maytag. Whoever installed your dryer had to install the exhaust vent. Unplug your dyer and unscrew the vent from the back of the dryer. Use a vacuum attachment or your hands to remove any clogged lint and replace. You may need to do the same thing to the other end that is attached to the wall.
4.Clean the dryer cabinet. According to Maytag, a professional should remove lint from the dryer cabinet every two years. This may be a good time to have him clean out the vents as well, rather than doing it yourself, if preferred.
5.Clean your lint screen on a regular basis. Maytag states that you should clean the lint screen with your fingers before using the dryer each time. Be sure to replace it all the way so it can work properly.

Warning signal "linter filter" comes on and dryer

You don't have very much information here to give you a better diagnosis, like the model or the error code, but I'll take a shot at it. If you're thinking that the flashing list filter light is the error code you can relax. The lint filter light ALWAYS flashes at the end of a cycle or before you hit the start button to begin a cycle. This is just a reminder to check the filter.
If your dyer is displaying an E:01 code this indicates blockage in the venting system. Do the simple thing 1st. wash your lint filter with some dish soap and running water, lightly scrubbing it with your finger tips. After rinsing clean pat the filter dry and re install it in the dryer. While you have the filter out look down in the filter holder area and see if you have lint built up there. They make brushes for cleaning this area or you can use a vacuum cleaner attachment to reach in there and **** out the lint.
If you still have an E:01 error after doing all this you may need to have your house vent pipe cleaned. But before you do this check your vent hood where the dyer vent exhausts out of the house. If it's obstructed you found your problem

Flashing container light. what is this? Dryer

Try taking out the lint screen and scrubbing it well in the sink with hot water and a brush. If you havent cleaned out below the lint screen, get a vacuum and a crevice tool and remove any standing lint as well as cleaning the vent. Bosch lint screens clog easily especially if you are a big fabric softener user.

My legacey washer is leaving lint on clothes

Of course you've probably already done this but if not, check the filter and clean it. Additionally, you might need to wash it to remove residue from dryer sheets and BE SURE TO DRY IT BEFORE PUTTING IT BACK IN THE DRYER. If the filter is clean and washed and you're still having lint, get a dryer brush and clean down in the area where the filter goes. Also go to the vent area outdoors and clean that with the dryer brush. That area can become clogged over time and prevent the dryer from effectively removing the lint. Furthermore, check the exhaust piping. If it is bent, gently move it a little to dislodge any lint that might have gotten stuck there over the years.

I have an error number of e68 could you please tell me what that is and how I can fix it.

E68 means a button is stuck on the control board, first unplug the unit for about a minute this may clear the fault if not you can lightly press all buttons and see if that clears the problem. Next slam the door shut as it may be the sensor door latch, then unplug the dryer as it maybe lint built up on the lint trap: remove your lint filter.remove the waffled plastic that covers the lint filter slot. , its inside the dryer, and there's two screws holding it in. Be careful, because there's two wires connected to the metal strip on the bottom edge of it. That metal strip is sensor. Don't drop the screws into the lint filter slot. you might find that a lot of lint has built up around the contacts for those two wires. Carefully clean all the lint and if you have an attachment for you vacuum you may want to use it just be careful and plug back in , and reinstall. Might want to check the vent tube since we are cleaning as it may be restricted. unplug dryer and the last thing is to take the back off and see if the control board itself is damaged or dirty, if it is dusty/dirty with a brush lightly brush it off. If none of the above worked then I would call the company at 1-800- 444-4944. Good Luck and let me know Tim

Lint filter light flashing...on off light flashing. Cleaned lint filter and checked vent. Vacumed and brushed out lint area. Will not turn on.

We had the same problem as many here have described. After cleaning out the vent system with compressed air and a vacuum cleaner, the appliance still failed to start. I unplugged the unit for a few minutes, turned it back on and it still failed to start. I turned the rotary dial to "SHORT" pressed start and it worked!!!! Not sure if thats the magic sequence or i just got lucky but Good luck.

Whirlpool Model LE7010XSNO. No Heat After Lint Cleaned Out

Those are likely possibilities. Also check the wiring for disconnected or burned terminals especially in areas that get hot. The element comes out easily to visually check it for breaks. If that's OK I'd look at the safety thermostat.
