Question about Kodak Cameras
Won't turn on.
I have a kodak cx7430 that one day just wouldn't come on properly. All I got was a red light, no matter what batteries I tried. So I began to wonder if this was a ploy of Kodak's to get people to buy new cameras...I don't know if that's true, but I did find a little switch in the battery compartment that was open. I noticed I could close the switch with a pen tip, but it wouldn't stay closed, so I taped it closed with a piece of electrical tape...and guess what...THE CAMERA NOW WORKS PERFECTLY.
I don't know if this is true, but I heavily suspect that this switch opens after X amount of use... because I know 2 other people who's cameras have done the same thing...sooner with heavy use and longer with light use.... LOOK FOR THE SWITCH, TAPE IT AND TRY IT! Email me if it works for you email@example.com
