Question about Samsung DVD-V90K Multisystem DVD/VCR
We cannot play dvd's as it says it is regional coded. We received the stand alone dvd player instruction sheet showing us how to change to multizone setting. After several attempts we could not decode the original setting. The next suggestion on the spec sheet says go on line to samsung.com/au/support/productsupport/download/index.aspx
to download the firmware update file for this model so we could copy the instruction for changing to multizone on disc and it did not list the specific dvd player we have bought. Is this possible to change and how do we do it?
need region free hack for "samsung dvd player p171"

Follow the instructions on the following page to change the zone of your player:
I followed the instructions without updating the firmware and it worked for me. Hope this helps.
