OK WELL IF YOU HAVE A DLP REAR PROJECTION IT COULD BE TWO THINGS 1: THE LAMP THE ORIGINAL ONES ARE GOOD FOR 6000-8000 HOURS MAY EQUAL 2-5 YEARS IT COULD BE THAT ITS GIVING UP ALREADY AND IT GOING OUT OR 2: IT COULD BE A BALLAST ISSUE THIS BOARD IT THE POWER BOARD TO THE LAMP IF ITS NOT SENDING THE LAMP THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF VOLTAGE THIS COULD HAPPEN NOT A ABLE TO KEEP THE LAMP ON BUT MOST PROBABLY ITS GOING TO BE THE LAMP

IF ITS A LCD REAR PROJECTION THE PROBLEM COULD ALSO BE THE BALLAST BOARD OR IT COULD BE THE POWER SUPPLY IT MIGHT BE SENDING WRONG VOLTAGE TO THE BALLAST

HOPE THIS HELPS GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!

SONY TV PICTURE TURN GREEN WITHOUT RETRACE

Picture goes to high green with retrace lines that shows picture tube is defective and requires replacement.
Usually in above symptom, TV goes to standby mode and standby light blinks when green raster problem occurred.
New TV is better option because picture tube of KV-34XBR960 would not be available any more.
Thanks.

No picture

Try a hard restart, which simply means unplugging the power cord, and replugging it after 4 hours have passed. This technique helps to reprogram the electronics, to a certain extent. ( Turning it off and on again by a switch will not work). If the picture does not return, then you might need the expertise of a TV repairman.

If the picture does not return, then your TV has a more serious problem, that requires the attention of a repairman.

I see from your profile that you have not specified your location which make it tricky to be sure which standard you should be using.
