    hi there, i located the devices folder but can't find the web cam driver... any suggestions?

For that you need to uninstall web cam driver then reinstall.
Right click on my computer icon then click on property then hardware->device manager.
Then uninstall web cam driver.
If your web cam is usb device wb cam then simply uninstall all usb drivers from device manager then check.

    If there is not any cam driver then you need to install web cam driver .
    You can download it from sony vaio web sites.
    Download it then install then cam works fine.

1.uninstall the arcsoft webcam companion camera software from programs and feature
2.uninstall the camera driver from device manager
