2000 Chevy Blazer LS. Distributor is arcing and causing missfires. Plugs, wires, and distributor assembly replaced. Still arcs. Any deas

The distributor CAP is what is arcing. Non-AC Delco caps will do this. I chased my own "arcing" for months. Evidently there is a known problem with aftermarket caps arcing. I went through many caps until I learned of this. Swapped to AC Delco brand, solved all problems.

15amp Eaton Arc fault breaker type BRAF trips every day at same time. There are no high amp electrical things plugged in. What is causing this? should I have it replaced?

"Arc fault" breakers trip when an arc occurs, either in a receptacle or a light switch, for example. An arc can be caused by an old light switch, when turning it on. An arc can also occur when you unplug a chord while the device is still turned on or running.

Installing arc fault interrupter with ground fault

Question is vague. Arc fault and ground fault are slightly different.

Are you installing arc fault breaker?
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-GFCI.html#arc-fault
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-circuit-breaker.html

Code says Maximum 12 boxes per circuit breaker.

Arc fault breaker and GFCI outlet in bathroom?
>>> do not connect this way.
Do not install 2 fault protections on same circuit.
Install the arc fault circuit breaker, and then remove bathroom GFCI, and replace with ordinary outlet, or switch-outlet.

How many outlets can be connected to a bathroom GFCI?
It depends on total boxes on circuit.
Count the boxes. Max 12 boxes per circuit breaker.

How many amps can be connected to 15 amp device?
15 x 80% = 12 amps
Electricians use 80% rule to calculate safe maximum

Why does circuit breaker spark when turned on?

Under most conditions, sparks occur between contacts of switches, circuit breakers, etc. during the split instant between fully closed and fully open positions (these sparks are really refered to as arcs or arcing). This instant is the point when the full pressure of the internal spring-loaded mechanism that is pushing or pulling contacts together or apart; is not yet felt. This pressure is usually felt only in the fully closed or fully open positions.

The brightness and duration of the arc is directly tied to the amount of power is being switched and the condition of the contacts themselves (contacts become pitted and dirty over time and arcing becomes more noticeable). Many larger switches and circuit breakers employ specially engineered arc flash suppression techniques and materials as the intense heat from the arc is destructive to ordinary insulated switch materials. Ordinarily, the arcing should not be visible to the naked eye.

Here\'s a video of an incredible arc at a power switching station when the switch is opened.

How to find the length ot the arc ,a circle has a radius of 45cm.

You can not do it unless you know the measure of the central angle sustending (supporting) the arc. If the angle is known, you use the proportionality relation that follows:
If angle is in degrees
(length of arc) / circumference=(measure of central angle sustending arc)/360.
Here the circumference is 2*PI*radius.

If angle is in radians , the relation is somewhat simpler,
arc length= (radius length)* (angle measure in radians)
It is clear that in the last relation, the unit for the arc length is the same as the unit for the radius.

3 combination arc fault breakers tripping under load

What is happening is the white wire that comes off the breaker is probably too close to another neutral or too close to a hot wire that is on one of the other circuits that will make it trip when you use a drill etc... Check to see if the coiled up white wire off of the breaker is not near a hot in the panel. I have had lots of arc fault breakers trip for that reason.
