Hi, Thanks for joining Fixya solution service. As per my knowledge that is not a router issue. If your router can't able to get the signal from ISP server that will not able to connect you to internet also. And as you said it's getting disconnected 2/3 times a week on row, means there may be some issue in your ISP end , I was also a victim of that. about 8 months I suffered from discontinuation and I changed the router too inspite of knowing there were no router issue. Then I complained the ISP. they came and fixed the issue from there end. So from my experience I will suggest you to contact with your ISP or network admin. Or if you think it's a router issue. Please let me know. I will try to help and fix. Thanks again

I keep getting kicked off during online play (8002AD23). I have a wired, ethernet connection

That error means your PS3 is having trouble connecting to the PS Network. That can be caused either by your internet speed (if you are downloading something for example, it may lower your speed and cause this error) or by a random glitch on the PSN. You should also try forwarding the ports from your router. The PS3 required ports are : TCP 80 TCP 443 TCP 5223 UDP 3478 UDP 3479 UDP 3658
Also keep in mind that it is recommended you set your PS3 to use a Static IP. I hope that helps

bring the router close to your computer or laptop. if there is any thick wall in between router and computer it may cause problem. if the problem prevails even after doing this , call linksys support and ask for firmware update.

The internet connection is fine (DSL AT&T).

1. You may have a an IP address conflict.
2. check the device connected to the router
all computer need to be connected at the same time.
3. Bring all the computers up one at a time and this should resolve the address conflict.

sometimes the modem will kick off line, from a power glitch. I recommend you isolate the printer from that modem power strip and see how that works.
