Hello,\r\nI have a Jenn-Air Stove type JGR8875QDS

Hello, I have a Jenn-Air Gas Range type JGR8875QDS which has a failed ignitor. Do you know where it is located and how to get to it? I assume the stove has a flexible gas pipe at rear so I can pull it out from the other kitchen units either side.

    It's not the oven ignitor it's the one for the gas burners on the top of the stove.

What you have to do is remove the racks and door. then remove the bottom of oven then remove the flame spreader and you will see the burner. Uplug the quick connect and remove the burner and ignitor so you can mount it on a nice work surface. take cake not to get contaminents on the silicon carbide ignitor filiment or drop it. Nothing to it.
Here is a movie showing how it works and gives an idea where to look;

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced, GENE

There are many places to order them from. The part number you need is 74009148

I would recommend you get them from Jenn Air directly to make sure they match. There are several other places I will list a couple here.

Tried to clean top of jenn air stove

If this is a gas stove, you've shorted out the ignitor circuit.  If it is may have gotten some of your cleaner into one of the controls.  See what doesn't work and trace from there.

Electronic touch pad problems

From what your telling me, you have tried all the numbers and only 1,4 and 7 beep when touched. Also, the timer display was set at 0:00 when you started. Also, you followed the manual's instructions first, and looked in the back of your manual in the trouble section, and found no answer.
Did you timer ever work? If not, you should be able to a free replacement of the control panel module from an authorized Jenn-Air repair company. It may be a good idea to contact Jenn-Air first.
The timer shows only hours and minutes when first started. For example 2:05 is two hours and five minutes. It goes into the seconds mode only during the last minute.
