Question about Jenn-Air JGR8875QDS Gas Kitchen Range
Hello, I have a Jenn-Air Gas Range type JGR8875QDS which has a failed ignitor. Do you know where it is located and how to get to it? I assume the stove has a flexible gas pipe at rear so I can pull it out from the other kitchen units either side.
What you have to do is remove the racks and door. then remove the bottom of oven then remove the flame spreader and you will see the burner. Uplug the quick connect and remove the burner and ignitor so you can mount it on a nice work surface. take cake not to get contaminents on the silicon carbide ignitor filiment or drop it. Nothing to it.
Here is a movie showing how it works and gives an idea where to look;
