Question about HP LaserJet 4000 Printer
I'm getting a 98.15.02 error from an HP 4000. Any ideas what this is?
Hi this what HP say about this.
Explanation A backup printmode is being used due to bad printhead quality or health, as a result there is lower performace in printing. Recommended action One or more printheads have too many nozzles out and should be replaced. Replace the faulty printhead. You may have to print the Image Quality Diagnostics print in order to identify the faulty printhead. Try printing a square made up of each colour, so one Cyan, one Magenta etc to indentify which head is causing the problem. then you can soak the head in IPA to clear out any dried ink, this may stop you having to buy another head. Also please please DO NOT use compatible inks as they are damaging to your machine even if they claim not to be, think about it HP would never sell the patent to their inks it wouldnt make sense they would loose money, so allways use originals.
