It actually depends on what, how and where you are cooking it, First of all, your proteins (Pork, Beef, Poultry, Lamb, et cetera all cook at a different temperature, to a specified temperature and depending on the mean of cookin, IE; oven, skillet, grill or pressure pot. Giving full food item info and how you would like to cook it is crucial information if you want some kind of feedback. Good luck

How does the food know which way its facing?

Try covering the food with a lid from a smaller pan.

And always remember...to cook faster, sometimes you have to cook slower! A carbon layer on food acts as a heat shield against further cooking!

How to use exhaust valve with electric pressure cooker

Hi the exhaust valve releases built up pressure created while cooking. There are 2 settings on mine. I have an InstaPot. When you cook on Pressure Cook put valve in closed posistion. Turn it left until it drops down. Food will cook for example, chicken with 1/2 cup chicken broth on pressure cook for 10 min then when done, pressure will come out on it own even with valve closed and dropped down, and food still cooks during this time. It will beep when ready. You can always open valve manually but remember it’s super hot steam and will burn you so lay a folded tea towel over top of valve then with wooden spoon tap valve into forward release and all the steam will release. Once this happens you can turn lid and open. You need all steam released either manual or automatic before opening lid.

MUST USE OLIVE OIL OR OTHER TYPE OF SPRAYS TO PREVENT FOOD FROM STICKING ON OUR NON STICK COOK WARE.... HELP.... NEED SOLUTION PLEASE....THANK YOU PRODUCT COOKS ESSENTIALS COOKWARE

you may be using too much heat. if you can cook with less heat and slower- this usually helps. If it was cheaper non-stick cookware you still may need to use a small amoutn of oil.
if you have burned the pan or used excessive heat i would recommend replacing it.

BOUGHT A HOME IN UNION NJ WITH THE GE DOUBLE WALL OVEN TOP PART DOES NOT WORK BOTTOM PART BURNS THE FOOD NEED REPAIR PLS CALL ME AT 908-391-8942

The heating element in top unit may be loose or burned out. Push the element toward the back and see if it engages. If it is already engaged, you'll need to replace it. It is simple to remove it.Just give a firm tug and it should come right out. To replace with a new element, simply push it in firmly.
With the bottom unit, are controls set for bake? If they are set for "broil" you are using direct heat and it will cook foods more quickly. Also, is bottom unit a convection oven? If so, foods will cook in 1/4 to 1/2 the time for a conventional oven, so you'll have to adjust your temperature down about 25-50 degrees and shorten your cooking time.

Simpson Evolution 904 wall oven cooks very unevenly

I agree, the heating is very uneven in our oven, however, when I calibrated the temperature with a thermocouple, I discovered that the temperature gauge was 25C too hot! That is, if I set the oven temperature gauge to 155C, it was actually 180C inside the oven! Taking this in to account, it is now much easier to cook things without them burning.

Do not know how to use

Oil darkens with use the oil food molecules burn when subjected to high prolonged heat.
When frying foods such as fish or chicken use the oil once.

Do not filter oil over to reuse. Storing the oil in the refrigerator may extend the life of the oil, this should not be done ever. This process of chilling the oil and then burning the oil to room temperature causes excessive splattering furing the heat up.

Storing the covered oil in a cool dark place, for up to three months. ( remember to check oil when you use for color, smell, or excessive foaming. Throw out if there is signs of all the above.

This unit has a warranty for one year from the day of purchase.

Cooking:

When starting let unit reheat 7-10 minutes. This will get the heat to desired temperature. Re4ady light will cycle on/off during frying as temperature fluctuates due to food load.
Types of foods cooking: temperatures and time of cooking

Chicken strips 375 F. 5-8 minutes

Chicken pieces, bone-in 375 F. 15-20 minutes

Fish, battered 340 F. 8-10 minutes

French fries, frozen 375F. 3-5 minutes

F375F. 3-5 minutes

Onion rings 375 F. 3-5 minutes

Shrimp, breaded 375 F. 2-5 minutes
When frying frozen food if iced rub off lose as this can make the temperature of oil cool down. Pre-cooked frozen food cooks faster and does not come out oily.

I cannot wait to start cooking in mine as I got it for a christmas gift. Great recipes in the owners manual:

Apples fritters yum yum, beer batter for fish or chicken, deep fried chicken , chicken Kiev, quick doughnut made from biscuits, add topping of ground cinnamon and suger.

Concealed oven

consealed bake means that the bake element on the bottom had a metal plate above it to make it easier to clean and to allow you to use the lower racks without burning the bottom of your food. To use, you want to make sure that the oven temperature that you set has been reached before putting in your food to be cooked. You also should put the racks one notch lower than you normally would. If you do this, you should have no problems with your food cooking unevenly.

Oven is cooking unevenly

ladder, here are some suggestions to try to help you with this problem. Make sure that you wait another 10 minutes to put your food in after the preheat light goes out or tone goes on. The manufactures like to get that energy effecient label on these ranges. If your utensil is dark, darkened by age or glass, these will absorb more heat and can cause over browning. Lower the oven temp for these types of utensils or use a pan with a shiney finish. Make sure the utensil is not too close to any oven wall. Do not check for doneness until minimum recommended baking time. Opening the door frequently causes the lower element to cycle and provides too much intense heat. Use the second or third rack from the bottom. Finally, check the owners manual for calibration instructions. You might be off with that. Catriver...post back.
