GE profile dryer,Runs fine but no heat

need to have the heat element checked with a multimeter and visually if u can and look for burns and corrosion and breaking of the wire connections. Also have the thermostats checked, Im assuming its electric and not gas? the thermal cut off may be bad and the hi-lo thermostat, these can shut heat off from the dryer. Ive replaced the element on my G.E profile and it wasn't all that hard rather simple.

GE dryer, no heat?

Your heating element is most likely burned out . Have you made certain all of your lint vents for the dryer are not clogged ? Also , be certain to clean the lint filter every time you use the dryer. A buildup of lint in the dryer , in the hoses & on the back of the dryer inside in between the drum & the outer covering can get so hot it will catch on fire when the heat is working , and also , without a fire will burn up your heating element.

Hi I have a ge adora dryer that won't heat up

Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable.
On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.)

Not heating up

This looks like it is an older model. The normal place I check for parts doesn't stock the heating element. I found an alternative place but the part is $90.

The element is in the large round area that surrounds the drum assembly. Here's a diagram. The heating element is part number 512. The line doesn't reach all the way there but I think the element is the two dark rings inside the housing. Here the page with the parts listing. You'll note that the model number is the same but the brand is GE. GE makes hotpoint.
