Hi
1.) Determine the make and model of your dryer. You want to make sure you get the correct conversion kit for your dryer. Get one that is specifically for your dryer, not a universal kit.
2.) Buy a conversion kit for your dryer. You will probably find one at a local hardware store that caters to farmers and country folk. You can also find them online. It is probably advantageous to buy it locally because the dealer has experience installing these and can be a great asset. The kit will probably come in an envelope and will be marked something to the effect of “Conversion Kit Nat. Gas to L.P. Gas for XXXX series dryers”.
3.)Shut off the gas supply to the dryer and make sure the power cord is unplugged.
4.)Access the gas controls assembly in the dryer. This will be different for different brands of dryers. The instructions with the conversion kit should tell you exactly how to do this for your dryer.
5.)Replace the main burner orifice spud with the replacement orifice provided in the kit. The kit may have more than one replacement in it to accommodate different dryers. Choose the one that is the same length as the orifice spud that you removed.
6.)Follow the directions supplied with your conversion kit to determine and adjust for proper manifold pressure. Be certain everything is reassembled and connect the gas line.
7.)Turn on the gas supply and check for leaks using a liquid soap solution and / or a leak tester.
8.)Activate the dryer gas valve. Check to make sure the manifold pressure is correct and if not, adjust the regulator setting. Again, check for leaks.
9.)Adjust the main burner flame as directed in the instructions with your gas conversion kit.
10.)Install the label that came with your conversion kit so that it is clear that the modification has been made and exactly what that modification is.

How do you change a change glo-warm sit 630 from natural gas to propane

You cannot do it. Their is no way. These come in 2 versions. Natural OR propane and they cannot be converted. The pilot is designated as a nat pilot assembly and the gas valve is designated a nat only valve. Their is no way to convert it not without costing a ton of money. You would need a LP gas valve and an LP pilot assembly. It would be better just to sell it to a nat gas user and get an LP one.

I have purchase 2 used FMP 40BSS fryers - originally Nat Gas - i want to convert them to LP - what is needed and can i do it myself?

To convert these to LP you must downsize the burner orifices and the pilot orifice. Also you must change the regulator on the gas valve to LP. Easy job.

Want to convert heater from natual gas to lpg are jets available for this conversion.heater model no reh210ec thankyou

Dont know if you can get orvices for that heater but almost all gas appliances can be converted for nat to lp and lp to nat, they made a spud kit which is a blank orvice that you drill out your nat gas orvice to I think a 20 drill side and install the spud in and redrill to size usally a nat-gas orvice is around 8 to 10 sizes larger then a lp.The big thing is the gas valve and if it has a built in regulator or not, some valves can be conferted to open up the regulator pressure by the spring or a block off kit and others are fixed and cant be changed, have to replace valve.most nat-gas are at 3" to7" and lp is at 10".Hope this helps you

Do you have instructions on how to convert a deep fryer to LP I have a Pitco 35cs I need to convert to LP

Visit http://www.middleby.com and go to PITCO web, you will be able to locate there the nearest authorized parts dealer on your area and ask for the conversion kit (from nat to lp). The gas valve conversion kit consists of spring, cap and instruction manual. you also need to replace the burner and pilot orifice, Nat pilot and burner orifice have larger bore than lp.

Converting broiler in oven from natural gas to lp gas on hotpoint gas range

On the oven portion you will need to turn the oriface clockwise all the way till it bottoms out. This is the conversion from natural gas to lp gas on all gas ovens. Also make sure the valve down toward the back has been flipped off of nat. to lp. Good luck

Lp conversion for LG dryer

After removing the three screws which pass through the L bracket into the back of the dryer:
Stand in front of the dryer and (using the palms of your hands) give the top a sharp push back on the dryer top at the left and right side of the top. The top should slide back 1 to 2 inches. Now lift the top off.

If you post again with further questions, make sure to post under the model number you have. (you posted using a combo washer / dryer, and stated you are converting to LP, which combo units are not gas.)

Propane to Natural Gas Conversion

on the regulator there is a 1/2" nut, made of aluminum. loosen the nut, thur it around and screw it back in, there is a "NAT" on one side, and a "LP" on the other side, make sure the "LP" is facing out if you are using propane, and "NAT", if you are using Natural Gas. Very simple, all you need is a 1/2" wrench, or a small adjustable wrench,
