SOURCE: My Soyo 19" TFT monitor

Thank you for answering those questions. That usually indicates it has a bad power inverter. From what i can tell, that monitor is a few years old. You can attempt to find an inverter online to replace it yourself (usually about $50 if you can find one) since its no longer covered under warranty, or put that money into getting a new monitor.

This monitor gives me a complete blank white screen when plugged in even after checking with multiple computers what part would need fixing or replacing for it to function properly?

check first any broken ribbon wire going to lcd panel or broken screen display. if those are good, the cause of white screen would be bad lcd controller board.

Soyo monitor MT-NI-DYLM1998 "out of range."

Your windows 7 screen resolution is set too high and your display doesn't support it. There are 3 possible solutions to this problem:
1. Press F8 during startup and choose "Enable row-resolution video"
2. Press F8 during startup and choose "Safe mode" and change screen resolution there, then reboot.
3. You can always use another display (if you have one) to set screen resolution to lower value.

medproducts, Nothing new here. Check internal "switch-mode-power-supply board" only after devoting about 1-2 hours of viewing "lcd monitor disassembly" and "lcd monitor repair" video clips at YOUTUBE!!! Then you will need to make big decision!!! Let me and all who read this know what your plan of action is.

My TFT LCD Monitor, serial #MT-NI-DYLM2286 produces a light pink backround, but prints clear. Is there some way to return the monitor to a clear white backround?

rjmusvi, Sometimes the VGA connector at the rear of the PC needs to have it RESEATED 4-8 times to see if it returns the screen to NORMAL colors being displayed on the LCD panel!!! Do this with the POWER OFF to both PC and LCD monitor!!! Also check to see if any of the pins in the monitor to pc plug are bent or pushed down into the connector body. 12fixlouie on fixya

Have a 22'' Soyo LCD MT-NI-DYLM2286 and without any warning the the disply is blank ... power light comes on solid ... but no pic???

Try another known working monitor on the computer to make sure you are getting video.

If you do get video with the known working monitor then you know the original monitor is bad.

If you don't get video with the known working monitor then you know that its a problem with the computer.

your monitor doesnt have drivers for it.. and doesnt need drivers for that matter. It sounds like you dont have the right drivers installed for your graphics card. here is a link to the drivers you need.
