The bottle that the g/box oil comes in should hve a tapered nozzle. You fill the g/box through the bottom drain hole untill it overflows out the top hole. With both screw plugs removed, squeeze the oil into the lower hole untill it flows out the top hole then reinsert the lower plug first. They dont take a lot of oil but this removes all the air bubbles in the g/box.Hope this helps

When did it last start and run well? Check for fouled spark plug. Ensure that ALL electrical contacts are CLEAN and TIGHT. Check fuel/oil mix for proper proportion and freshness.

1993 Suzuki 4hp 100.1 how much oil per gallon

the manual shows for a 100 :1 mix the ratio is 4 ounces of oil to 3 gallons of fuel
there are two engines and one is 50: 1 ratio so that would be 8 ounces of oil to 3 gallons of fuel
there is a pdf version workshop manual at www.motoren.ath.cx and it gives the ratios for all of the 4hp suzuki outboards and the oil to use

Where are the serial numbers located on a 1985 Suzuki 115 hp outboard motor??? have looked everywhere

The serial numbers are on the transom bracket where your engine bolts to the back of your boat !
If no numbers then remove the gearbox and take the impellor and its housing to a dealer and they should be able to match them !

I have a 1985 Evinrude 60hp outboard that i removed the oil injector so as i could run on mixed fuel. At high speeds it is bogging out and seems to be missing badly. Could this be the wrong fuel/oil mix,...

The correct mixture is 50:1, or 1 pint per 6 gallon tank. Use quality brand-name outboard TCW-II or better oil(Bombardier or Mercury eg.) to eliminate the oil as a problem.

Check your plugs for fouling. If using perma-gap / surface-gap type plugs, switch to the L77JC4 type, especially for long idling or slow speed operation. For extended high speed operation, the surface gap plugs are recommended.

Suzuki outboard motor 65 hp --oil sensor keeps

assuming you are not out of oil in your oil reservoir you probably have a bad sending unit in the reservoir. never bypass it or eliminate it as you could permanently damage your motor or ruin it if you ran it out of oil.
