    Memory upgarade

Yes, it will work. Remember that all memory will operate at the speed of the slowest memory though so unless you're completely replacing the memory it won't increase the speed of the memory.

    Compatiblity issue..

You may install up to 4GB of DDR RAM in this motherboard. It does not use DDR2.

    This is from your manual:

    Dual-channel DDR400 memory support
Employing the Double Data Rate (DDR) memory technology, the motherboard supports up to 4GB of system memory using DDR400/333/266 DIMMs.

Can't use two of 512 ddram in ecs m925

    Check the following:
The fsb are the same, if this differs it could couse instability.
( do not use 266 ram with 333 ram and 333 with 400 , or any other mixture of thease).
try this: pull out the rams and put back the first to the second's socket and the second to the first's socket.

    Good luck.

    DDr or Dual Channel Ddr

    From the manual:

2 x 184 pin DDR DIMM Sockets support up to maximum 2 GB unbuffered PC 2700/2100/1600 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory.

So, to answer your question, for your particular motherboard, no. However, to dispute the other poster, Dual channel is better than regular DDR. It's just your motherboard does not support it.
