2008 kia low beam not working not blub

The low beam can burn out and still leave the high beam working because we seldom use the high beam. I've seen new bulbs not be good bulbs too. Same goes with fuses. You can take a tester to the bulb plug to see if the is current to the bulb. It is much like checking the volts on your battery... Good luck!

Here is how I fix this problem in case someon is still looking for an answer: 1. Turn power to hood off at electric panel 2. How do I remove burned out light bulbs from zephyr range hood? What do I replace them with?

What model range hood do you have? To remove most of the bulbs from a Zephyr hood, wait for the bulb to cool after use. Then rotate the bulb counter-clockwise about 60 degrees (less than a quarter turn) and the bulb should drop down. If you have problems turning the bulb, try the glass suction cup that comes with the hood or a rubber/latex glove grip. Sometimes a rubber jar grip will also work.

The one way to find out your range hood bulb may be to remove one and look at the side/back. The bulbs are labeled. Otherwise, check your manual. Zephyr has the manuals for most of their ranges here: . Use the drop-down menu to select your model.

Different hoods use different bulbs. For AK6500, 6536, 6542 Cyclone hoods, purchase type: 4OR 14 mini flood light bulbs. For the AK2500, 2536 hoods, you need to purchase type GU 10 halogen bulbs. For the Anzio models, including the ZAN-E30AS, get a GU-10 50W halogen bulb.

I hope this helps.

Dripping kitchen exhaust fans

It sounds like there is a restriction in the vent or the hood is to low. It should be at least 18" above the cooking surface.

Cannot find a replacement bulb (Phillips X4J-40 watt)

I had the same problem and found bulbs that fit through You have to look for a European base, 40 Watt, 120 Volt incandescent light bulb. They are about $3.50 each plus shipping. I bought two and they are excellent. I've ordered another 6. They are shorter looking than the original Phillips bulbs, but just as bright and you don't have to replace the sockets. Good luck!

Miele DA270 Vent Hood Light Bulbs

I just bought two at Home Depot for around $7 each. I, too, saw the inexpensive internet ones and decided to spend the extra money and look at them first. I bought bulbs by Philips, called Desk & Cabinet (for enclosed bulbs). They are 20W and 12 volts as you said. It's a G4 Base T3. Now that I have these, I'll likely buy the cheaper ones next time.

Replaced light bulbs but no light

Original bulb has a JDR designation. I ordered bulbs and received bulbs with a JDRC designation, the brand was Hikari--these bulbs were shorter than the original bulbs and will not seat properly even after removing filters and turning bulbs by the neck of the bulb (porcelain section). Since they won't seat completely in the socket there is no electrical contact and they won't work.
