It is probably not a matter of tightness, but the blade is twisted or stuck at an angle on the arbor. Try flipping the blade around and gently slide the blade on and see if it hangs up anywhere. It is possible the blade is bent , but not likely-- also less likely is a bent shaft.

What causes the blade to wobble or cause vibration to the saw it's a sawmaster sdt 1000s

A defective motor shaft bearing would be the most likely cause if the blade is not bent.

My fan is swaying and is very wobbly. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it

First, start at the top and make sure the hanging bracket is tight against the electrical box. If your fan has a downrod, make sure the set screw is tight. Next, check the blade holder and make sure they're tight. Then check the blades screws. If one of the blade holders are bent, even a little, they would need to be replaced. And lastly, check the blades to see if they are warped. If so, they would need to be replaced.

My Hampton Bay Victoria 70 in. French Beige Ceiling Fan has started to sway and make funny noise anything above a level 3

swaying fans are a symptom of out of balance. The blades have to be all at the same height to the ceiling or from the floor . It it was ok before but just started this when the noise started then it may be failing bearing in the fan.
with most fans that means a new one but take it to an appliance shop as it may be repairable.
bearings will be from a bearing supply shop

Macallister chop saw blade problem, the motor runs but when half way through cutting wood the blade stops ?

I'm not sure if you have a chop saw or circular saw. Either way, it sounds like the nut and washer are not tight enough to hold the blade. If you have a circular saw clockwise will tighten the nut and washer onto the blade and hold it in place. Most chop saws are a left hand thread and then you would turn the nut counter clockwise to hold the blade tighter. The blade wobbles because it is not tight.

Hi marilynh57....
Try removing the fan blades and putting them into different positions.
This will sometimes solve your wobbling problem as some fan blades are heavier than others and this causes the wobble you experiance.

My blade appears to cut or move straight. But when I cut a piece of wood on it it wobbles. You can't wobble the blade with your hand. It appears to be in there tight. What could be the problem?

You likely need to replace the blade i have hitachi 10 inch chop saw with the lazer i love it the best one i have ever had vary well build But any saw is olny as good as its blade if ti were a lesser mechine i would say it could be the baerings but i see how hitachi makes tools so i would say its the blade got over heated at one time now when it gets hot it looses its integreity buy good blades as a rule

New fan with downrod wobbles when on high speed and low speed. Does not wobble on medium speed. How do I stop the wobble completely?

Measure from the same spot on the ceiling to the outer most tip of each blade (by rotating to the tape). The distance should be the same, if not check fan blade screws for tightness. You might have to bend the fan blade brackets a little to get the same measurements, if the screws are all tight. If all this lokks good, you might to use a balancing kit...just follow the's not too bad to do
