Try checking for debris or foriegn objects in the vent area by the fans, it could have a build up of dust and other junk in there. Just a thought :)

Ps3's fan making weird noises

you will need to take it to a repair man.
I have been fixing these units for over 3 years now.
If the fan is spinning up that fast it could damage the motherboard of the unit.
Or you could be spot on by saying the disc sounds like its spinning up wrong.
I have seen dust obstructions in these systems and that could cause it to spin up unbalanced, or a feed arm to touch the side of the disc and make a sharp and loud scratch sound.
Either way it is fixable

PLAY STATION 3 WILL NOT PLAY DVDS OR GAMES AND MAKES LOAD VIBRATING NOISE WHEN THEY ARE PUT IN

This is the 2nd most common problem with PS3's. This isn't a bad problem. Your

laser/lens will need to be replaced. Do you see the time clock in the top right

corner going around and around? If so, you are just having laser/lens problems. If

you do not see the time icon spinning when you insert a disc, your PS3's Blu Ray

drive controller board has gone bad and you will need to send it to Sony and not a

3rd party technician. Certain problems are only repairable by Sony. Good luck.

The loud noise is just the system trying to work.

Loud fan

i believe you need to clean out your ps3 of dust, usually dust clogs up the cooling system and decreases its efficency causing alot of strain on the fan due to it having to compensate so, try putting the "nozzle/tube" of a hoover (vacuum cleaner) over the air vents to **** the dust out,

You can take it apart to clean with a brush but this will most likely void all warrenty and your ps3 and you might not know how to put it back together so unless you know how to take apart a ps3 DON'T, otherwise do so at your own risk
