Anybody got a diagram or even detailed instructions on repairing these headphones? I stood on the cable and that was that. I promised myself that i would never do that but i did! 100 quid down the drain.

This is for the people like us who are a little bit conscious about our budget. If you are on a budget, it is important to find the best pair of cans that fall within the range you are looking for, and in this case we will be checking out the best under $100http://djheadphonereview.com/best-dj-hea...

Hi dj23 Ive have the same problem with mine but i was lucky to find the screws that undo the headphones their are just behind the right hand side headphone under the black bit that touches your ear theirs 3 screws hiding behind the coving with little arrow marking their they are but be very careful as you open it up as the wires are very bake able in side as their is not much room to get in their to fix them i am still trying to work out the best way to put a new wire on to them as the wire that comes with this headphones are not fixable as its unsleved and its the string in side the outer flex that stops the wires touching each other good luck it fixing them please let me know if you get any other info luck jagged

Not an easy task. Actually, not an easy task at all. You have to be cautious when doing this, as you might damage the headphones, and once damaged, there aren't very many parts available for this particular model.

My technics headphones have just stopped working, is it probably a faulty chord?

Unusual to fail on both channels at the same time, however the most common cause is a break in the wire just above the 3.5mm plug.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

No signal going into mixer.

Did you buy the gear new? If not, the issue might be with the meter. Also, sometimes the signal isn't loud enough to engage the meter, so try cranking up the Trim and Volume (Master & Line), of course, make sure the volume on your amp is down, so you don't blow anything.

Good luck.

Technics RPDJ1200K / A

Yes, they are the same, except for the headphone cable and in some cases the color (although I've seen black 1200A):

RPDJ1200K (black) - have a non-coiled cord
RPDJ1200A (silver) - have a coiled cord that stretches
