Sorry for duplication of instructions. I can't get use to Word 2007 yet, and end up with things like this happening.

I spilled liquid on the HP 5610 scanner. Now I have a stain on the left margin of my scans. The stain is a strip that extends from top to bottom. How do I remedy this?

One way to remove all types of stains and fingerprints is Windex and a soft rag. That is one of the cheapest and easiest way to do it.

A better approach to it is to use monster cleaner. It is a special spray to clean tv screens, laptop screens, and even windows. It comes with its own cloth that works amazingly well. I have used it for years and has worked for me every time. You can pick it up at your local Best Buy or click on the link to buy online. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Monster+Cable+-+TV+Screen+Cleaning+Kit/5774879.p?id=1069297113224&skuId=5774879&st=screen%20cleaner&cp=1&lp=1

Can I use any SATA hard drive to replace the HP Hewlett Packard Pavilion Slimline S3300F Desktop SATA? Thank you Albert

Hello,
Yes, in fact you will most likely be able to get an upgrade as most HPs have a 5400 RPM hard drive and you can find great 7200rpm SATA hard drives.

There are also 10000rpm drives available but at this point they aren't worth the price in my professional opinion.

Good luck.

I broke my laptop screen for my HP pavilion D7-1245DX. In order to avoid paying 500+ dollars to best buy just to fix the screen...I bought a replacement, but i cant figure out for the life of me how to...

Find a different computer-store with a qualified technician,
rather than risking your laptop, if you don't know 'HOW' to do it CORRECTLY and SAFELY.

Since you seem to have "saved" a bundle already,
spend some of those "savings" by renting the technician's services.

Last week, a local computer-store replaced my laptop's LCD screen,
and charged me for "one hour of labour", namely $60.

The store could have supplied a brand-new LCD screen for $200,
but they had a "used" screen on-hand, for $100.

So, "$500" seems far too expensive.

HP Pavilion DV1000 Screen Replacement

Here's the HP manual for it, too many instructions to post and the pictures should be helpful. Just take your time, figure out what you're going to do twice and then do it once. Much cheaper to take a few hours longer than you'd figured on than to fix a self-made problem:
