Question about Electrolux EOB6632 Electric Single Oven

1 Answer

We had a power surge, and since then the control panel on our Electrolux will not completely light up when touched. The oven works and the numbers and information light when they are directly touched, but nothing else. Is there a fuse or a switch I can replace or something?

Hi
Make sure that the control panels wire harness contact clips that are behind the actual control board are lose or destroyed, if such then replace the entire harness. This could be the main reason for the lights that are not illuminating during operations. If the wires and the harness or the contacts are in good condition, then this could be a circuit issue inside the control board, related to the LEd lights.Replace heat damaged capacitor labeled C3 on display board.
Thanks for contacting fixya.com

My oven keeps giving the f10 code even though I have replaced the temp sensor and the oven relay panel. What's the next step? It's an electrolux #ew30es6cgw2. Tia

F10 - Runaway temperature. If these error codes shown while the oven is in day time mode, the EOC (electronic oven control) would need to be replaced. Otherwise check the oven temperature sensor (RTD sensor) as described earlier and replace if necessary.
Most of the EOCs incorporated power relays among all other components while some of ovens use a separate power relay board to simplify design and lower cost of production. You can determine it by visual EOC inspection and/or by the wiring diagram for your oven (if it is available). If there are some relays on it, replace the EOC. If there are no relays on the EOC, check the parts list (Search by the Model number) for the relay or power board. If there is a such part, replace it. I'll be glad to help you if any problems with the diagnostic. Just leave a comment on the bottom of the page. In such situation I'll need the complete model number of the oven.

How to address F14 code? Convection oven does not start.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
I see that your Electrolux wall oven is displaying an "F14" error code. "F14" stands for display tail missing, which means you could have an issue within your main control board or keypad. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by flipping your household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would suggest seeking a professional to come out properly diagnose and repair your appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Jenn air svd46800 oven not working

Good Afternoon,
The control boards in your appliance may have failed. There is a display board, part number 71001799 and relay board part number 12001693. Commonly we see transformers on these relay boards fail with power surges. Luckily, we do test and repair these parts. Remanufacturing these controls will save you the high cost of buying new, and each rebuild will come with a 2 year warranty-- which is three times longer than new. Email me if you have any questions! info@fixyourboard.com

My father solved this one, those clocks were such a hassle, ours buzzed for days til he fixed it. It requires opening the control panel and bypassing the wiring that allows the clock to turn the oven on and off. Of course you lose this function. Is that the complete model number?

Electrolux oven eog7330xn stopped working

Hi Chaps,
I have an 18 month old Electrolux Gas oven model No: EOG7330XN which worked for 14 days then died. There was no power displaying and I called Electrolux to service within the warranty period. The engineer removed the front control panel and replaced a fuse inside which brought it back to life.
Am I right this is possible, I have removed the panel but can't see any fuses?

Control panel doesn't light up

HI, this issue concerns the touch pad(control board led). This will happen in certain models. it could be some minor corrosion within the wire contact clips that are not allowing the proper current to illuminate the led that is used to light the specific button or, it could be a minor circuit issue within the control board as well.

i recommend inspecting the control panels wire harness contact clips that are behind the actual control board. make sure they are not corroded or lose. if they are lose or corroded, i suggest replacing the entire wire harness. this could be the possible reason for some of the lights that are not illuminating during operations.

If the wires and contacts are in good condition and the harness is in good condition as well, this could be an internal control circuit board issue, concerning the LEd lights. they may have burned out due to the age or heavy usage.(heat related)..

Please rate and god bless:)
