Question about Brother HL 5140 Laser Printer
Our Brother HL-5140 is not printing. It doesn't pull any paper through to be printed although every once in a while it will act as if it's going to print and just doesn't "grab" the paper. This leads me to believe it may be a spooling problem.
Replace the paper pcik-up rolly assembly. MAKE SURE TO get a good look at how the existing one is installed before removing it. It needs a little tweeking to get the new one in and everything lined up correctly.
Also replace the separation page on the paper tray itself.
Look for part number PF-1 Kit or OEM PART #: LJ7920001
The only diagrams I could find on-line of the inside of the printer I found by searching for "brother pl-prn067". Look at pages 8-9.
