Question about Kitchen Appliances - Others
The only ones I seen blow up were do to oil galley plugs coming out of rod journal on crank. On both machines the warranty was over but our John Deere dealer rep got us free replacements through Briggs. The only way to correct it before it goes is to pull engine, then crank and re-install plug. Not really worth having shop do it cause the crank would have to be removed to gain access to plug on top side of journal, you can save $$$ if you do it yourself.
