Question about HP Pavilion ze1210 Notebook
The screen on my HP Pavilion ze 1210 has gone black and I can't seem to get it to work. What could the problem be and how much might it cost to "cure" it? Thanks.
Hi- check it is not in the external mode for connection to another monitor or device. There should be one of the function buttons dedicated to this eg F4 or F5. It will have the picture of a screen or a monitor or two screens on it. You may have to press ALT at the same time though as the F button. Press once to change to external then again for external plus your own screen and then again again for just your own screen. If you understand this go ahead and see what happens. Otherwise its a hardware fault and you could get repaired - anything from £60 upwards I would say depending on the nature of the fault. We could do for you if you send by the way....
