Question about Dryers

My white knight 44aw often trips the reset on the back of the drier , even when only half full. ps ive checked the filter.

Howdy: On the back side there is a thermostat that shuts off the dryer if too hot. Sometimes lint will kling to it and will sense to much heat. Clean the back of the unit with a vacuum cleaner hose or a blowing device to clear that area. Good luck - Doug

Look under the lip near the mounting area. There should be a spring, just gently pull it around till it is 180 degree or more . it will fall off.

Drier not blowing hot air


Hi, If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. My tumble drier has no heat and the reset button does not seem to be working


could be thermal limiter fuse in the back of the dryer. this can cause it to not heat but still the drum will turn

Yesterday the trip switch for the downstairs mains sockets tripped. When i reset it and plugged switched on my White Knight 44AW drier it span as usual but now there is no heat.

You may have a short in the system, make sure your breaker is rated high enough to support the dryer
