Question about Dell 810 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Scanning Instructions in every other language except UK.Need to know how to scan documents fron an 810 printer into dell latitude e-mails.

Re: scanning

Try to download the latest driver and software for 810 printer all you issue will be resolved, but before you install the new driver make sure you delete or remove the existing driver.

Hallo Rose,

Probeer het formaat van scannen goed te zetten.
Het kan zijn dat de scanner groter of kleiner scant dan het papier.
Of scan het gewoon en verzend het als bijlage.
Derde optie is om de software te updaten.

How do I scan on my 810 all in one? I just installed the printer.

Along with the drivers for the device you may have installed some program too. Use this program to scan the documents. Alternatively you can use Word or other word processor to scan.

Dell 810 all in one printer/scanner not scanning

scanning is a bit of a trick. You have to have hardware to scan with, and SOFTWARE to receive images. Make sure the scanners imaging software suite has been installed, OR, you can use the scanner manager in windows to scan with. Just select the dell 810 as the "scanner source" and click "scan". that should do it.

How do i scan a document?

the 942 printer can scan in 2 ways ,

  • a : from the computer using all in one centre , find it @startàallprogms àdellprinters àand click on aioc (suites xp and vista )

ø U may not see it (aioc ), if the printer driversare not properly installed .
ø when it open , click in scan or preview it is self explanatory .
ø if u can open the application but still cannotscan ., then u may have the firewall blocking its communication and may anothersettings in the pc doing it ..please let me know ..
ø replay to me and I will help further .

  • b.: if u want to scan from the printer :

> use the arrowkeys on the printer to change it to scan mode and then press the scan button
> u may prompted to select the comp name …u want to scanto .. and then select the application to be used ..still cannot scan ., then umay have the firewall blocking its communication and may another settings in thepc doing it ..please let me know ..

How do i scan and email a document using the a940 printer

On the printer press scan, then press options, move the right arrow key. Select e-mail and press select button. Also, go to start menu, go to all programs, Dell printer, then select DELL AIO Printer A940, then select Dell All-In-One Center. On the Scan box on the drop menu select e-mail. All set, scan from printer to e-mail.

My 810 acted up suddenly and just stopped working. It had been ok with a new computer which is now 2 years old. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer driver. That solved my problems.

I cannot get my fax to work, how do I send and receive faxes ,I am not sure how to connect the phone lines, which line goes where? bewildered not so much a computer whiz

Do you have the user's guide? That usually has all the information you need to install and set up the unit. If you don't, you can always go to the website and download a copy. Then follow the instructions.

Scanning problem

u just check the connection r they all rightly and tightly connected.
U can try unstalling the scanner and reinstalling it again.Inform me the result

Go into Control Panel and complete the Scanner Wizard provided by Windows XP, then try scanning pictures or documents again. If you have the disk to the printer/scanner autorun the installation again. It will just overwrite the old install, not a big deal. If you do not have the disk, look online for the "free installation disk Dell A940 Printer/Scanner" and run from this free website. Let me know how it goes.
