Alright, have you located you music yet ?
I personally dont use rhapsody, i use Ares which has worked great for me.

If you have located your music, simply open My Computer, look for sansa, open this and drag all your songs into music.

Well that's all I got.

[djnick your not helping at all, your literacy level is probably the worst on fixya and stop talking about iPods, the focus here is to help Rebel, not advise him to buy other mp3 players]

Rhapsody should be compatible with your mp3 player because I'm pretty sure they're simple mp3 files.

What i don't get is why your computer doesn't recognize your sansa.

    Try this.

Make sure Windows is updated, uninstall sansa software, restart computer, reinstall the software, plug in mp3player if it still doesn't show anything; open my computer and look for "sansa".

    well, good luck.

please respond again so i can try to get you a solution.

Sometimes the default windows driver doesnt allow direct usb download from the net, you can use the above solution or you can go to the sansa's home page, download the latest drivers and firmware and install them.

WARNING ((( If something goes wrong while upgrading your firmware you will kill your player. to revive it it will involve flashformatting and firmware reinstillation)))

When you download using rhapsody, the music is stord on your computer in a default directory..

simply connect your mp3player and it will show up as a removable disc in my computer.

Copy and paste OR drag and drop your songs from the folder rhapsody downloads to to your computer..

Trying to synch my SanDisk MP3 player to Rhapsody

This player is a little goofy. The normal method to synchronize is through Windows Media Player. But if you go for the Rhapsody subscription, you have to also sync the device through Rhapsody.

No Music!

You have to delete all those Rhapsody songs and start over. Even if you renew your Rhapsody subscription now, it may not return the songs to normal. That's the problem with most music services - once the subscription expires, the songs are done.

Unfortunately you are not going to be able to go online to sync your device...All music subscription such as napster and rhapsody require you to sync your device every single month using their actual software..The reason is to prevent customer from cancelling their music subscription..once you cancel your membership all the songs you have on your device will become useless. In another word, you are renting the music from the subscription company...

P.S.Please rate accordingly...

You must resynchronize to the msuic service (probably Rhapsody) every 30 days with this player, or you will get that error message. Two ways to solve:
1) Keep renewing your paid subscription to Rhapsody every month
2) Convert the files you downloaded from Rhapsody into Mp3 format

Will eventually lose songs downloaded?

Okay, here's what i've encountered:  songs that I downloaded on rhapsody, without purchasing, only lasted about 7-10 days unless i reconnected.  once my trial period ended, i lost all the songs.  songs that i've purchased i've had no trouble (although if you load them to the sansa immediately after download, you may get the same message.  its best to wait at least 24 hours).  good luck
