My MX700 fax picks up at various times into a voice call, even when on the "Telephone Priority" setting. I have tried putting the "Manual/Auto Switch" in the off position, even changed the "Remote RX" ID number and other settings I think are unrelated, but the fax still interrupts my voice calls.
I also seem to have overly saturated photos with either plain or photo paper, although the correct paper setting is used.
Has anyone come across the solutions to these issues?

- Hi again,
The "telephone priority" mode has been in use, as stated in my original post. I tried many combinations of settings and nothing worked.
After talking to Canon tech support many times, they shipped me a new machine. This solved 2 problems. 1) The fax appears to work properly now and hasn't interrupted my voice calls, and 2) my photos are not over saturated (with magenta?), which means my print head was bad.
This replacement is terrific! The prints are fabulous, regardless of the original. The ADF works superbly without jamming or grabbing more than 1 sheet at a time. The software provided is easy to use and effective, with the possible exception of Canon EasyPhoto EX. It doesn't allow manually enhancing the photo before printing. Get a copy of Canon PhotoRecord. It does it all beautifully!
-   Same here - suddenly the mx700 interrupts telefon calls. Didn' do this in the beginning. I tried every single advice, but nothing seems to work. So I contacted canon today - no answer yet.
