Your PS3 console is overheating will cause it to beep and then turn off and also the drive/motherboard is not working and having problems will cause the PS3 beep and shut down. You should get your PS3 console fixed from someone that repairs video games consoles.
Probably your PS3 is overheating, place your unit on a room that has the proper ventilation, an air conditioned room is the best way for your PS3 to run properly.
Try removing the game inside your disc. then try removing other external hardware and slots and try again. If problem persists it might be a system problem. Please go to the shp from where you bought it and ask them for a replacement.

This is to do a factory hard reset on PS 3 all files and systems settings will be deleted and restored back to factory this should hopefully solve your hard drive a problem. depending on the system reformat clould take 3 1/2 hours do a full format as to clear
Faulty memory
1. Power Off the PS3 via the power switch in back and power back on w/switch.
2. Hold Power Button on the Front until you hear 3 beeps.
3. Then go through the initial setup and then run a full Format via System > Format.. You may need to have our AV cables ready if your using HDMI (in case HDMI isn’t detected after initial reset)
go to internet connection settings and establish a new connection. then keep turning your system off and on until it works, checking everytime you turn it on
you already have a corrupted hard disk.the best possible solution for that is to replace it with a new hard disk.corrupted hard disk causes the ps3 to freeze bcoz it cannot the load the data that the ps3 needs to boot properly.hope this one solves the problem
