F1-E5 - Calibration Shifted - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect. Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock). Turn the power off at your breaker. It is easier.
If you elect to replace the control board, ground yourself by touching bare metal. The new control board will be delivered in a gray anti-static bag.
Some times the pots that you may be using are not designed for use in induction cooking. If you are, It might be the size of pot. The peeping sound might be the cook top looking for the pot. But when all else fails. Turn the stove off at the Breaker count to 12. Turn back on. Reboot. Hope one of these work.
Several posts regarding instruction manuals for De dietrich induction hobs. Goto "http://www.dedietrich.co.uk/hobs-induction-hobs-c-55_23_38.html" scroll to find your model - select it, then look for a link to download manual.
hob under guarantee thank goodness - new control panel fitted, solved the problem for a year then it all started again. Now won't switch on at ALL. Engineer just came says part obsolete so we qualify for replacement - am considering induction even if I have to pay extra as the hob itself doesn't heat up just the pan. Sorry I can't be more positive :-(
