Question about Black & Decker CTO9000 Dining-In Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking
The Start Toast button is no longer engaged in order to toast items. I am wondering if I can fix it and how to go about taking it apart. Thank you.
its not repairable at any price . you have a bad thermostat , its soooooo common with this oven . asprie who makes this oven in china, then inports it with black & deckers name on it . has not made any parts for it , not even a wire shelf or a knob .....when something happens to it , you toss it in the trash .....

SOURCE: button to toast won't latch
THE BOARD IS BAD .the problem is b&d will not sell it to you . i had one that i DID FIX , there was a problem in the power supply on the board , i checked out the parts i needed there where 2 diodes , and an scr transistor i found bad . ordered them (with shipping 28.00 ) got them and installed . and the first power up POP the ic timer blew apart and damaged the two diodes . cost of the ic another 25.00 plus the other parts. so i now have around 60.00 in parts and 4 hours labor in to my great working 7 year old toaster oven ( that i only paid 25.00 for in the first place ) so unless your like me and never give up ,NO MATTER WHAT ! its time for a new toaster oven ......... if this answer helped please rate a 3 or 4 stars this high rateing will help keep me in the paid answer department , thank you

Al, your switch is likely a DKJ/1-60. As you know you can\'t find one, however there is a switch that will fix your oven. It\'s part # 05XDE5218104600 and is made for Delonghi ovens. It looks the same as the DKJ/1-60 and works the same. Get it at The Gourmet Depot website for $10 + shipping
