Player took in CD, had an error reading, and won't eject CD

cd players usually have a reset pinhole under the face, detach the face and you should see it on the main unit, with the power on push and hold with something thin and you should now be able to eject the cd. let me know if this helps.

I've had my Sony Xplod CDX S2010 Radio/CD player in my Jeep for years and it has all of a sudden locked up on me. The CD player will play and eject CDs, however it doesn't allow me to adjust volume or skip...

i'm not sure if there is a flexible cable that goes from the face to the motherboard. if there is, that could be the problem. it could also be a bad switch.

Following a flat battery, my cd player won't work.

You dont need a code if your radio is working but your cd isnt. You just need to reset the cd player by finding a little small indent on the face and push it in with a sharp pen, pencil or paper clip. Some reset buttons are also found when you remove the face of the radio. You will notice it when you see a little small round hole. Push it in for at least 2 or 3 secs

My jvc cd player goes off and i have to remove the face plate and put the face plate back on for it to work again what could be the problem

Try cleaning the copper connecting pins with some rubbing alcohol. This sounds like it is a issue with the face no fully locking into the deck anymore

Face plate wont turn on

On the faceplate back, there should be some metal contacts. Take a white (not pink, red, purple, etc) pencil eraser and clean the contacts on the faceplate back. You can take a little rubbing alcohol and a q-tip to the contacts on the player itself...just use a little bit. Let it dry for about 5 minutes and try again. If it has a reset button, you may try pushing it, however that will most likely reset the clock, radio stations, and any eq settings.

No power at all to blaulplunkt rpd 555 faceplate model

If the face was disconnected and that was the only problem, you should be able to just reattach the face. If not, contact blauplunkt customer service and they should be able to tell you how to bypass any lock code it may have.

Wont play cd

Is this a "home burnt" CD? The code means CD ERROR #2.It is usually because the CD was written in a format the head unit can not play.If it is a studio CD. I would contact Panasonic and find out what code # 2 means.I had a code too because of what I said before but I do not remeber the # it was.
