Which fan did samsung say was fan #2 ? As from my experience dealing with Samsung they dont know the difference between the fans but fan 2 error is usually refering to the fan under the light engine in the L7 and the L6 its the small one in the gray plastic case which blows under the ballast.

Tv turns on and plays pic for 3-5 second and turns off

This could be a ballast issue. It's a very common issue with Samsung TVs.

Samsung HL-R6768W started making squeal noise from rear of TV. At same time lost picture and will not come back on. Sound is ok and you can hear light trying to turn on. Can fan motor not working correctly...

Look at the fan and verify its comming from the fan and not the power supply unit, you can clean the fan or replace it, but yes the fan would be likly the problem. Make sure you double check the power supply unit and clean if its needed,

TV model HLS6188W start to shutting off all the time.

If TV lamp has not been changed in last 2 years then most probably its Lamp issue in TV and requires lamp replacement.

Samsung 50" DLP TV

Since the lamp generates a lot of heat, the fans are continuously monitored for correct function. The owner's manual should show you the location of the fans. Make sure that the grills covering the fans are clear of dust and that the fans are clean. Sometimes dirt can cause the fan blades to slow down enough to trigger the safety alert.
