Same thing happened to me. Fan started not to function so I removed the remote sensor and it works fine but unfortunatly no remote. Aloha Breeze customer service said to send it to them and they will repair/replace it.

After putting this fan up and taking it down after three times to figure out it is the remote sensor....It was quit aggravating...my suggestion if anyone would ask me about this fan...DONT BUY....

the fan works as long as you dont put the remote sensor in...the company should send someone out to install a new one just for all the aggravation this causes as well as the tired arms

I don't know if this will help you or not. but this is the site for most off brand equipment handled by target and wal-mart stores. Aloha is a brand handled by target and home depot (I think) anyway here it is, hope it helps...

Have a Hunter model 28675 ceiling fan with two light fixture. Turned lights on, heard a pop. One of the bulbs blew, turned black. Now the lights will not work with new bulbs.

Is the fan and light kit equipped with a wireless remote control? If so a short in the light fixture sockets will cause a backfeed into the electronic circuit boards of the remote controls receiver and burn it out. If you have a voltage tester or pigtail with a light bulb remove the screws for the light kit and disconnect the two wires from it. Connect your voltmeter or pigtail to the two wires that were connected to the light kit. Have someone turn on switch for light or push light button on remote and see if you are getting power, If you are then problem is in light kit. If no power is present then receiver for remote is burnt out. Depending on the fan receiver can be built into the fan or located inside the top canopy and can be easily replaced. As per the light kit having a watt regulator it is possible that was installed to prevent overheating of the sockets by the manufacturer. That can also have blown out causing no power to get to the bulbs. If you have power at the wires that connect to the light kit then the watt regulator is defective. You can bypass the part but you must insure that you do not install bulbs that are of a higher wattage then what the fixture is rated for. Or you can order a replacement from Hunter. Good luck.

Fan remote receiver number UC7051R has failed

I find no replacement parts outlets. But you are in luck because Lowes and Home Depot sell replacement remote units that you can replace yours with. Choices vary but all will offer
the full range of controls including lights, dimming and speed control. Just requires a little DIY and
always turn off the breaker before repairing. Good luck.

Door opens by itself in storm

Here are some things you can check.

Look at the LED light next to the SMART/LEARN button on rear of the motor unit. You may need to remove a light lens cover in order to see it. If the light is flashing rapidly this means you have a stuck button on one of your remote controls. Take the batteries out of each remote control. When you remove the batteries from the bad remote, the light will stop flashing. This remote needs to be replaced.

If one of your neighbors remote controls is inadvertently programmed into your receiver, you door will open when their remote is activated. If this happens you will need to clear out your receiver and reprogram your remote controls. Press and hold the smart/learn button for 6 seconds or until you see the small LED light near the button turn itself off. If the above steps have been followed and the symptoms continue, there may be an electronic short in either the wall control button or the receiver logic board. In this case, remove the wall control wires from terminals 1 and 2 on the motor unit. Should the symptoms persist after the wires are removed, replace the receiver logic board. If the symptoms stop with the wall control wires removed from the motor unit, replace the wall control button, and the wires leading to the wall control button.
