Hi all, my dishwasher is giving me a bit of a headache. When starting the cycle it fill with water, washes for about 10 minutes then empties. the controller then sticks. I have noticed that the water is cold so is the element faulty.

Hi. Are you still having this problem? I just experienced exactly the same thing with my D61 for the second time and eventually I just got cross and held down the P button for a couple of seconds and the machine beeped 3 times and the green light went out. I was then able to select the program as normal. Then, it froze on me again so I held down the button again, it reset again and I tried it on a different cycle. Now it's actually going through the cycle. It's so random (the first time I didn't hold down anything and just shuffled stuff around inside for a bit and then it worked ) it seems to be a actual fault with the programmer, so I can\t say for sure that this will work on yours or even on mine again but it's worth a try!
I have an older dishwasher also and recently mywife also complained about it not cleaning right... so me being the man I amtried in vain to clean the things... Bought new spray arms online and installedthem in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also foundthat if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad...So I would buy new spray arms, and also check out the heating element to makesure it is working... Here is a tip that will help you with the onlinebuying...
Dishwasher SprayArms not Spinning
the heating element is probably bad. i have a idl 600 here in naples italy and it would fill up and go into alarm light 2 and 4 and pump out the water. heating element cost 28 euro and i changed it out. had to change the clamps as well. if you ohm the element it should show about 100 ohms. if it is open its bad. the mother board does some checks and if anything fails it alarms out and drains the water after a few minuts ralph
Check to see how fast water is entering the dishwasher. They work on a timed basis with a float switch being a safety. You may want to check how the water gets into the dishwasher and then see if there is plugging somewhere.
