Re: games resolution

Try dropping the resoltution that the game plays at. Also turn down any "eye candy" settings. Also stop any background progs running via task manager to allow max power to be used for game performance

I can not play a game system becomes very slow, how can i play a game perfectly

If your experiencing a game latency or sometime called log, you can try changing the resolution of the game or the quality of graphics, or you can also upgrade the graphic card and memory of your pc.

Hope this one helps you.

By connecting external display through hdmi port from my laptop, can i play demanding games!if yes then give some examples! specs....... compaq presario cq60 209TU, it has Intel(R) Graphic Media...

You wont be able to play a "demanding" game on any integrated graphics chip. While you may be able to start the game and load into it, it will be unplayable, or a painful experience at low resolution at best. I play World of warcraft, which isnt very taxing on a system, unless you put settings on ultra and high shadows. I can play it on my laptop with the same chipset that you have, but i am forced to play at the lowest resolution, and turn all settings to off/lowest, and it still only gives me 20ish frames per second. Ideally you would want to never dip below 30 to be playable As far as the HDMI port, that is just how the video signal is being sent after leaving the video card/chip. Even with the HDMI, your lack of dedicated graphics will be your limiting factor, and will not get any better by sending it through HDMI.

Slow Graphic Acceleration

i play WoW and i recommend you get at least 2Gig memory and with that card you need to run the game in low settings. The 5200 series card is not high end gaming card. If you have pci express slot i highly recommend a 9600GT. But first upgrade to 2Gig RAM

Screen goes blank when I start up game...

why don't you go with the lower resolution itself as it was before.  if you are not able to set the screen resoultion to lower what you can do is reset ur system. press F8 key continuesly untill you get advanced boot system. There you select "safe mode" and run the system. Once it is booted try changing the resolution.             OR After getting the Advanced boot system you can also try by selecting "Last Known good Config......" so that it sets the old screen resolution...!

About graphic card

most top-end cards will work with your computer and boost performance a bit but... your CPU and the (these days) very low amount of RAM (for e.g. this little laptop I'm using has 3 GIG of ram) would NOT enable you to play the (latest) games... if you got them to run at all they would be mind-numbingly slow.

Biggest performance boost you could give your computer and help towards playing latest games would be more RAM.. as much as you can fit in. More RAM is the best upgrade you can give a computer

Fx5200 agp card

Well running vista on nvidia 5200 and expect for performance is nothing but a dream. If you are a gamer, you shoud REALLY get a new graphic nvidia 8600 could help you.the rest of the configuration is great for running vista and play most of the games(with a new graphic board).

IF you don't need another graphic board and you don't play demanding games, the video driver could be your enemy...
here is a site where you could download a GOOD driver

Cheers, mate!

Slowing down suddenly when gaming

Hi rajiv2612.
Suggest you check for any software update's from GeForce for you're 8600 GT. Also check for any software patches for the game (s). (Include windows update service as well).
The normal stuff like running windows system defrag & disk cleanup utilities should be run once a month for gamers.
Lastly, if you feel heat may be an issue. Open the PC case & leave opened while playing the game that seems to slow down the most. If the game does not slow down (After checking & updating all of the above), than maybe you need to add a 3" fan to the case, so fresh air blows directly onto the 8600 GT.

Good Luck!

Graphic card

the graphics card has got nothing to do with the game installation, only when the game is installed will you be able to see if the card is performing correctly, if you have a game that requires the cd to run after installation for pirating reasons, assuming you have it installed use cd1 to play the game.

If you can get the correct resolution for your monitor eg 1024 x 768 then the graphics card is working, you would'nt be able to see your desktop.
