I have a brand new air hog jet set and I have charged it 5 times and only flew it 5 times. Now it only runs for about 15 seconds then dies. It shows to be fully charged, but it still only runs about 15 sec and dies. I have even put in a new set of batteries and it still does it. It has not flown again. anyone else have this prob? and how to fix it if poss. It is only 2 days old and I have not damaged it at all. Jarod

If this was the original charger for the air hog copter and it just started to fail in recharging , there must be a faulty part inside the charger that is causing the problem, staying red light during charging period and never turns to green or other color to show that it was charged is one problem but when it also shuts off after 30 seconds without charging definitely shows a faulty part or parts inside the charger. To check this out you can try another good charger which you can borrow from a friend to see if it would charge your copter or you can take it to the store where you bought the copter , they may be able to confirm the fault on your charger, if it can be fixed or needs a replacement.

This situation happened to me too after using it like 10 times it doen't
charge anymore does anyone knw what to do and what is the neutral position for the rudder how does it have to do with charging the plane I know what the rudder is and where it is ,ut don't know how to put it into neutral position.Help???

you need to confirm pilot jet is clean and clear of fuel gum first step up. in the the pilot jet can it can block with in a week or two so few months is more than possible
the high rev is just what happens when motor out of fuel (so it has used all you pored into the plug hole)
remove carb - remove pilot jet - blow compressed air through the hole pilot jet goes into and replace with cleaned or a new pilot jet
also confirm it is brand new fuel in the tank don't even try to run the old fuel throw every drop away and re fill if you haven't already

i have the same exact problem, flew it once 2 weeks ago 1 flight then we stopped and waited for warmer weather today and it works for 3 to 5 seconds then shuts off Thanks

1.Take out charging wires. 2.turn off your heli and insert charging socket into your heli's socket. 3.the charging green light will light up while charging. 4.charging complete, the green light will turn off. 5.pull out the wires and you are ready to fly. Let the heli's battery cool down for approx. 15 minutes before charging.

your sharpshooter is probably on so try turning it off then charging

Was gasoline left in the tank during off season? Sometimes gas will break down and clog the jets in the carb. The priming bypasses the carb so when you put fuel in by pumping the bulb it runs, but dies becasue no additional fuel is coming through the carb after the primed fuel is burned off. Sounds like you need to clean the jets in the carb and in the future, use Stabil in gasoline to keep it from breaking down.
