I got my hp deskjet f380 from my friend without the driver. i tried to download the driver from online but its taking forever to install. this is no exag but its been weeks already since i started installing it. i just leave the installation box minimized and its running according to the task manager. its progress averaging 0.8 KBps. I've disabled the firewall as instructed before running the installer. what should i do?

the error is: out of paper. i have tried replugging the printer. switching on/off the printer. and its still flashes the no paper button.
