I have a very old Bosch mixer - probably 30 years old, with a lifetime warranty. It is laboring hard now, with louder noise - we make bread dough with it. Is there a way to tune up old machines?
Sounds like the motor is going. If it has a lifetime warranty (which I'm surprised to hear) it will be interesting to see if you can get it repaired. There are not many old parts around for the older models. I have one too that just needs the brown knob but can't find one anywhere! Good luck
I AM A SERVICER FOR MAJOR APPLIANCES, IF YOU CAN GET PARTS EVERY THING IS REBUILDABLE. THE PROBLEM RIGHT THIS MINUTE IS MOST PARTS ARE NO LONGER AVALIBLE. I AM TRYING TO FIND PARTS FOR A BOSCH MIXER NOW . SO FOR ALL MY LEADS END UP WITH PARTS NLA
Try calling kitchen solutions in utah 800-692-6724. I think they are the US main distributors of bosch, or even look online for a certified service location. i believe the older models came with the the lifetime warranty as a standard feature. I just recently passed mine on for a newer one to make bigger batches.
