My mp3 player won't let me put any song onto it

I accidentally deleted all my files from my mp3 player. When I went to my computer to put the songs I accidentally deleted, it said that my mp3 player was at 75% capacity but there was nothing on it. When I try to put new songs on, it is giving me an error message that says the directory or file cannot be created. When I try to put my whole library of music onto my mp3 player, it says it can't hold any more.

How do i erase songs that i already loaded on to my GPX MW249 mp3

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you
do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,
right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Accidentally deleted 39 songs on mp3 player while adding new music. Went down from 218 songs - 179 songs

Hi, Well if you have deleted the songs you can not recover them in any way. What you can do is to upload new songs through your PC to your MP3 player.

My Sansa E260 randomly stopped working

Check and see if the songs you put on the mp3 player are a hidden file Connect to your computer open my computer goto tools on the top of the page folder options click on view Here you will see Hidden files and folder click on do not show hidden files and folders and put a check mark on hide ext....and hide protected Hit apply. Delete any songs you put on the player and start over

My player deleted songs

Several options:
1) You can delete the songs from the computer itself using Windows Explorer. Be careful to only delete music files, not system files.
2) Use the format option on the player itself - will erase everything.
3) Delete the songs using Windows Media Player

After selecting one of the 3 options, you can then reload only the songs that you want onto the player.

Won't delete songs

You should be able to modify and delete playlists/songs by connecting the player to your computer and accessing the files by going into my computer and selecting the player drive.

Cannot delete songs

Try going to my computer and under the heading 'Devices with removable storage you should see your player listed. Double click on it to open and then you should see the files there in the music folder. Highlight and delete all files. Hope this works for you. :)

How do i delete songs

My suggestion is switching the file transfer protocol from MTP to MSC by accessing it under the Menu. Once you do this, when the Lyra is plugged into the computer, it will appear as an external hard drive. Format the hard drive and then drag and drop your songs and/or directories of songs onto the Lyra. This is what I do, as I never use Rhapsody, URGE, or even Windows Media Player or MusicMatch to upload songs onto my RD2763. Hope this helps!
