Question about Printers & Copiers

Driver for the kodak printer dock series 3 will not install. Have been taking to kodak for three days. They keep having me go to their web site to install but it will freeze up. When installing their software for the easyshare it will also freeze up when it comes to loading the driver

Hi there try downloading the driver from there maybe a small charge though. If this doesn't work then check the compatibility with the computer if all ok suggest to install onto a different Hard drive or change the name.

My Kodak Easy Share Printer Dock series 3 only prints half a page

Hello, try this and let me know.
Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.

Does not print total picture I only get a 1 inch strip down the left side on two different printer docks after taking a panorama picture

sounds like you need to go to the printer page, go to set up and do a printing test. this will clean the heads and set the printing format.
lastly, kodak's web site might have a trouble shooting information guide to help resolve the issues.

My Kodak EasyShare printer dock Series 3 only prints 1/2 of the picture. It has always worked fine before.


one way or the other, someone must have change some settings on the Kodak EasyShare printer unknowing to you.

Since you do not know want was pressed to have caused this, the it would be better if you reset the printer. resetting will put the printer back to its default state. This will make the printer work fine as it has been doing before.

Or uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers. That is, detach the printer cord from your computer, uninstall the Kodak EasyShare printer dock Series 3 software, restart your computer and reinstall the software back just as you did when you first installed the printer to your computer.

This will help to rectify this problem.

Got a new Vista computer and cannot get Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3 working. The computer searches for drivers but says can't find driver for "Xerox DocuPrint N17" That is not even the printer. I...

If you have the Kodak software on CD or DVD, place the disk in the proper drive (D or E, etc.) and when the program says it is looking for that driver, point it to the location in which you put the disk.

Even though it is not the right driver for what you need to do, often times, applications must have all the drivers available, so that the installation is complete. Then they can do what you need done.

Do give that a shot, As the saying goes, "it might not help, but it couldn't hurt!"

Is it connected to the \PC?
is the cord connected
is there damage to any cords?
Are the drivers installed for the printer dock/and Camera

check your usb drivers on the PC if they don't work you may need to upload new PC drivers, and cam/dock drivers

do you have permissions to add hardware to your PC

make sure the external card is activated, and make sure the pics reside on your pc, if you are trying to transport directly from an outside web source to the camera you'll just be confusing the computer. It may have worked at one time (luckily I may add) but by now the drivers are so corrupt that the process has fallen null. Otherwise reinstall the dock drivers to transfer the pics from a safe place on your PC to your Camera only. Good Luck!

Printer Dock

Uninstall the drivers , restart your computer and then reinstall the drivers from the website who made the printer.
