Thank you so much for the help. I am stationed in Iraq and this was the only copier we had with no where to send it to get it fixed. You are a life saver.

Hello 1999.We can reset the code together. And for many errors the copier can be reset, and then recover, then move on like normal. However the code you have (E000003-0000) means that an extremely temperature sensitive area of the machine misbehaved. And the copier gets really anal about monitoring this temp so the code may return as soon as the copier runs a diagnostic, but I can assure you we can reset the code so lets give a whirl and hope for the best.Ok, on your operator control panel, next to the nine key pad,is a button that says "additional functions".Locate it and we will perform a 3 step function that will allow you to enter "service mode" which will let you clear the code. Press "additional function", release it and then immediately press the 2 and 8 buttons simultaneously, release them and then press additional functions again. As I said this is a 3 step process that should be done in a smooth but timely fashion. If done properly this will summon a new screen that will show you a few "blocks" and the top block will say COPIER. Press it and a new screen will appearwhich will have several blocks across the top of the screen. One will say FUNCTION and you need to press it. Again a new screen. Look at the menu in the body of the screen and you will see CLEAR. Press clear. New screen again and look for ERR. Press ERR. After you have touched ERR notice the "OK" button in the lower right corner of the screen. Touch "ok". Now unplug the copier and wait a few seconds. Now plug that baby back in. The copier will attempt to return to a ready condition by "warming up". This is where the copier may notice a problem with the temp. Then make a copy. This will force the copier to run a brief diagnostic(which you wont see). If the copy successfully exits the copier then you should be ok. But the fact that the code occurred at all Means that at a minimum the copier had previously seen a problem and so the code may return. Hopefully, we just saved you the expense of a service call and all remains well. I hope I have helped you and I will keep my fingers crossed hoping it was merely a momentary problem. Good luck and take care. SPINAL

Dear 1999AirForce.Good Lord I apologize for being so shallow as to not realize that I was actually offering a hand to some one that that was risking their life to make sure I had the luxury to play on my computer. Thank you for helping to maintain the safety of our country. God bless you..............................SPINAL

Seconded. I'm in England and four years on, with sadly too many lives lost, with ours and your brave young people deserve all the support we can muster. As they say in the Royal Navy, BZ to you all.

How do I clear error code E000003-0000

ppress additional functions, 2 and 8 then additional functions again

Go through the following to clear the error: CLEAR >
ENGIN > ERRCLR; and then turn OFF and then ON

I think, I dont have an ir2800 manual. This is an error in the fusing section, so it may come back and require some parts replaced.
