MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. The mp3 Sansa e250 Sandisk seems to work on the computer and shows all the stored music contents but when I try to paly the songs by itself "No Songs" message appears. No song or video is being played. Is there any solution to make it work as before?
Can you play at least one music from your mp3 player? If yes, the file that you're trying to play when this message appears may be corrupted. Try having another copy of the music that you want to play on your mp3 player. If you can't play any music that you transferred, possible causes could be :
1. Your mp3 player was reformatted to another file system that is unrecognized by the mp3 player.
2. The flash memory of your mp3 player was bad 3. The songs that you're trying to transfer is not known by the player ( file types other than .mp3)
the problem could be that tghe extenstion odf the music file could not be supported on tha phone so u must know what's the extenstions that ur phone support and for the silent mode while callin it maybe that u're choosin the wrong profile like:meeting, silent or another.... ... .. .
Sounds like you have bought protected music that will only play on your computer. There are a couple of companies that do this with the music that you buy from them.
goto the music file that you are trying to upload to your MP3 player, right click on it, and choose "properties".
at the top, there are 3 tabs, you'll only want to pay attention to "summary"
look down in the "origin" category...is it protected? If it is, then this is why your MP3 player isn't playing it. It will only play on your PC.
