    Hi,

Before I go completly insane could you help me. I have been given this product with no instructions. I am trying to make it work. I can get the projector to shine a nice blue light but it isnt working with my laptop.(which is 3yrs old and sad) I have been give several cables and the remote. I have one cable for power and the other looks the same at both ends, one of which I have put into the laptop and other into the back of the projector which says 'computer in/video/component' There is a similar lookng plug next to it that says monitor out I have tried that and no joy.. There is another cable that looks like aerial connection. Any ideas as to what I am not doing right?

Not all computers are F4 - some are F7... - If there is not a small graphic on each Function button - just press and hold your function button and I'd start with F3 then F4 then F5 and so on - often your image will appear on the projection screen and disappear from your laptop - just re press Function and the appropriate key - you may also need to change your display - go to your control panel then display then settings and you will want 1024x768 - as far as cables you will need a male VGA that will plug into (usually blue) connection on your laptop and then depends on what type of projector you are using - it may take a VGA or RGB (5pin cable ~ red green blue horizontal vertical) make sure that in your menu settings that you have it set to the same as the input you have plugged into

We work with these where I work and I believe you also have to change the Input settings. I apologize, but I can't remember what Input setting to change it to, but I do know for sure it's got to be changed, depending on what port on the back of the projector you plug your VGA (computer component cable) into.

Do you have Computer Component Cable?, which comes along with the projector.
It looks Similer as your PC Monitor Cable, which has two Ends. Try that.
