Okay, do you mean "Tray Linking". The process where, for example, if Tray1 goes to an empty condition, tray2 so the print job runs uninterrupted?
Or do you mean that you want Tray1 to print 6 or so pages and then switch to tray two because you need a different style of paper.
Tray Linking - you use the printer setup to activate.
Switch Trays - Usually controlled by printer escape codes.
