Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 Digital Camera
My kodak easy share C643 shows up black on the lcd screen when I open the camera to take a picture. same problem can not see subject to take picture on lcd screen it is black....i get a flash when i attempt to take a picture but when i review the picture it is black....help
Check the manual to see if there's an option to switch the LCD screen off and only use viewfinder, and vice versa. Some cameras (specifically a Kodak I have in mind) let you use one or the other, but not both, especially if the image you see in the viewfinder is a digital image. So check that too. Look through the viewfinder to see if you see a "real" image, or a digital image, like what you would expect to see on the LCD screen.
Hope this helps. Let me know what you find (including if you find your LCD is damaged and not just off).
